IAMU came to Vikberg.net with the desire to create a strong presence on the World Wide Web, as an umbrella organisation for maritime research and Maritime Curricula development. The IAMU also wanted to be able to keep in contact with all the universities around the world, both as an official channel to the world, but also provide material and other important documents on a members basis only.
