Web Design and Development
Over the years - the team at Vikberg.Net has evolved to be the frontrunner in the Web Design and Development field. Vikberg.net has developed a proven way to develop web designs and web applications to maximize the ROI of our clients.
At First Glance
First we interview you about your company - determine goals and ambitions for the web site. We will ask you for any/all collateral already developed, such as logo, business cards, letterheads, envelopes etc, to take advantage of the current branidng if applicable. We will upon seeing these be able to define a few ideas about the web design, and or web application, what functionality the site needs and we'll be able to give you a free quote, based on the information/collateral we receive from you.
The First Step
After the initial consulation and the approval of our estimate, we will develop two prototypes based on the initial consultation. These will not include any working links and layout, but will be images in high quality .gif format. We will always provide a 'staging area' on our servers, for you to view them, as well as the following development. If you request, we will send print proofs to you in regular US mail. This is also available to international customers as well, free of charge. When you have chosen your preferred layout, we move on with second step.
The Second Step - Development and launch
After one prototype is chosen and approved - then we'll go ahead and make a functional frontpage, and an internal page is developed for approval. After the second sign-off is made, the rest of the pages are added with all functionality.
The Last Step - Outstanding Quality Assurance
Before we launch each site live - it goes through a rigourous quality assurance process, where we test the site in a multitude of browser / OS combinations, a total of 42, spanning Linux - MacInTosh and PC platforms. The lowest we currently support are onour technical page. We will then post the site live and make sure that all hosting arrangements are working out.
